KakaSaku Bleach xover Hollow | Binding | Meeting
What do you get when you mix this week’s 3 prompts and Kakashi week?
This is what you get lol enjoy!
Sakura stood in the middle of the expanse that was Hueco Mundo. The breeze carried grains of sand that grazed her skin before continuing their journey through the desert. The Espada swept pink locks away from her face, brushing the bone tiara across her crown out of habit. The porous surface scraping her hand. It’s a reminder of what she is.
Las Noches was off in the distance. She was far enough that her attacks wouldn’t damage the castle and Madara wouldn’t have to chastise her again. Not that she believed things would be the same from now on.
Konan had confided in her about what was to come. Sakura was prepared for what she had to accomplish.
Or so she thought
She sensed him before he saw her.
“Shinigami-san,” she greeted without turning around to face him.
Kakashi took a moment to observe her new attire. Gone were the tatters she had previously worn. Here she stood, shoulders back, white jacket with a black trim that cut off at her waist. Her hakama-like pants started at her hips and continued through to her ankles—the hems dancing around her legs.
Kakashi scratched the back of his head. He hesitated before finally arranging his façade. She may be the hollow with a mask, but out of the pair, he was the one who spent more time behind a veneer. “Ma, Sakura-chan, is that really the way we have come to greet each other after all our meetings?” His visible eye turned into a pleasant half-moon.
“No, Kakashi,” she acquiesced, “but things are not the same anymore.” There was tension in her shoulders. Kakashi kept a lid on the dread attempting to crawl up his spine.
His eye tightened at the corner, “I suppose not,” he moved to stand beside her. The perpetual crescent moon hanging in the sky illuminated her features for the Shinigami captain. His observation was cut short when bright jade eyes turned to him. Her eyes always shone the brightest in Hueco Mundo. He wondered what it was about this wasteland that made her look ethereal.
Sakura looked at him. He looked the same as always, standard silver, gravity-defying hair, reprehensible posture, and devil-may-care attitude. She saw echoes of him now. How broken he was when he lost Obito. The sacrifice of Rin. Growing up as an orphan This was a man who was intimately familiar with pain.
She hated what she was about to do.
She has been told repeatedly that the most significant difference between the species of hollow versus a Shinigami is that the hole that is physically on her body denoted a missing heart and the absence of emotions that usually accompany the organ.
She would like to punch every individual that has told her that.
Because this anguish she was feeling was pushing her to a breaking point. Forcing her to question the decisions she made in cold calculation.
Madara would not allow failure. If she was weak now and did not follow through, then all her efforts would be for naught.
“I have an objective to complete. Tell your friends to stay out of the way.” Her frosty gaze shook him from his stupor. He figured she would have changed, but he underestimated how much.
“Sakura, whatever that mad man is offering you isn’t worth it.”
“He’s the only one that can give me the solution to my problem. And why is it up to you to decide if it’s worth it or not?” She sniffed in derision.
“You know that’s not true. With all the R & D Orochimaru is doing, I’m sure there can be an answer.”
The Espada became agitated, “How many times to I need to drill it into your head, Kakashi?! I am an Arrancar, and you are a Shinigami. The rules that apply to you are different than the rules that apply to me.”
He finally got emotion out of her, but he was now regretting it.
She ripped her jacket open. There was a perfect black hole above her left breast, the size of a fist.
Kakashi averted his eye, and she noticed. Her own eyes narrowed in anger. She hated that her objective was becoming more apparent by the second.
She crowded him. Got close enough so that he could not avoid her because she was bringing up something that he wanted to ignore. “This is what makes us different. I must fight to keep my nature from consuming me. If I let up even a moment, then I revert back to a mindless hollow reacting on instinct alone. This,” she pointed to where her heart should be, “is confining me to my roots. It is part of me and who I am.”
She straightened and zipped her jacket up again.
She saw Kakashi’s jaw clench beneath his mask. He wasn’t ready to lose another precious person. He shook his head, “No, that doesn’t have to be true. We can--”
“Kakashi,” she mutters barely above a whisper, “please stop.” Her voice was flat, but the skin across her knuckles was pulled taut. The tight binding she had across the abyss in her chest was coming undone.
She released her Zanpaktou and faced the Shinigami, her once-upon-a-time friend and confidant, but now he was a hindrance.
She refused to let anyone get in the way. Kakashi was not exempt from that.

AU where Deidara becomes inexplicably fond of 'Tobi' to the point of just going 'fuck it' and following Obito into crazytown and, if Obito survives The Kaguya Nonsense, he now has a bitchy art school grad student following him around like "you fucked with my head for a year after making people pressgang me into a terrorist cell, now it's my turn to fuck with you." This is partly because this one post lives in my head rent-free.
(Brainstormed on discord with help from @britishassistant. Please note that while I do usually headcanon Dei as nonbinary, this brainstorm kept to he/him pronouns and referring to him as a boy.)
Confession that this arose because I keep imagining 'person travels back to the Founders Era and wreaks havoc via Confusions, using different characters capable of 'why the FUCK' reactions every time, pinged on T7+Obito but Obito had to bring Deidara and everyone Regrets, because... boom.
Nobody wants Deidara involved, except Deidara. People especially do not want Deidara and Sai in the same room, because between Deidara's hands and Sai's 'commentary,' someone's going to get murdered. -- (Deidara is of the opinion that he should be involved in everything where there is the potential for blowing something or someone up. Deidara was sort of invited, in that Obito refuses to leave him unsupervised, but nobody really wants him, like, doing things.)
Team Seven is trying to help push a peace treaty through for the Senju and Uchiha. Keeping an eye out for Zetsu, Obito's talking Madara around as the person who actually knows him best, Naruto is Vibing with Hashirama on a level nobody hoped they'd reach, Sakura's smoothing ruffled feathers by healing the dying, Yamato is demonstrating Mokuton as evidence of something, and Kakashi has his hand over Sai's mouth so they don't cause an international incident. Sasuke isn't helping, just kind of in a stare-off with Izuna.
And then Obito says, "Wait, shit. We're missing a blonde." "Where's your idiot, Obito?" "He's not my idiot, Bakashi, he just--" BOOM "Ah, shit." [cue maniacal laughter in the middle distance]
"This is why I told you to keep an eye on him while I talked to Madara!" "I told Sasuke to do it!” "Why do you expect Sasuke to do anything you tell him to do?"
Part of what I was going for was: 1. Deidara and Obito have a preexisting relationship that angles heavily towards mutual antagonism due to the whole Tobi thing. 2. Deidara is both completely unhinged and capable of mass destruction, which means he's perfectly set to Cause Problems. And of course 3. This means a role reversal where Obito finds the shoe on the other foot because now he’s the one trying to rein in Deidara.
Obito is 100% done with Deidara, but this asshole is kind of his responsibility? Like? What's he gonna do, hand the kid over to Onoki? Nah, bruh, his douchebag teenage sidekick deserves better than Iwa. -- (Deidara does not, in fact, deserve better than Iwa.) -- It’s like Deidara is his kid or something, like he knows he’s hellspawn but he’s Obito’s hellspawn.
Madara: You came to convince us of peace, yet you bring-- Obito: No, shut up, it's better than leaving him to his own devices, at least this way I can stop him. Hashirama: How do we convince the Daimyou this is a good idea? Madara: We need to make him think there's a bigger threat, maybe? One that he can't fight without united shinobi clans to hire, rather than pitting us against one another to maintain his economic dominance. Hashirama: But there aren't any bi-- Deidara: I VOLUNTEER
Obito: So what are we going to do? Deidara: Blow up buildings belonging to the rich and powerful. Obito: And what are we not going to do? Deidara: ...blow up the innocent? Like kids? And poor people? Obito: Okay, yes. That's pretty much it. Deidara: Wait, can I blow up a monastery? Obito: Do you want the Shinigami to come after our heads?! No!!! Deidara: What if it's a Jashinist temple? Obito: We have seen evidence that one exists, do you really want to risk it?
Hashirama, full of 😀 : I brought dango! Deidara, to Obito: Are you going to eat it with your eye again. Madara, Izuna, all the Uchiha: [turn to stare] Obito: Literally why do I put up with you.
(Deidara is that one kid who Delights in telling everyone about the weird and dumb shit Obito pulled as Tobi.)
Deidara: Hey, dipshit, you wanna-- Obito:
Also, Kakashi has his four brats so Obito gets to keep Deidara. It’s only fair. -- Kakashi at least has Tenzo to coparent, and some of his kids are well-behaved... ish. They try, at least. Obito's just got a Hell Child who actively delights in causing mischief and mayhem. -- The most Naruto's going to do is dye your hair in your sleep. Sai makes dick jokes and Sakura punches things, but overall, they're not bad kids! Sasuke is. Sasuke. But that's okay, that's why there's a solid five people in that team to handle his bullshit.
Whereas Obito is stuck. With an art school grad student. -- Deidara is contextually the epitome of "I think I will cause problems on purpose." -- (Deidara... is what Tenzo would call “a bad influence.”)
Btw? Keep Sai and Deidara away from each other. Kakashi learns that the hard way. -- "Captain, the art kids are fightingggggg!"
Kakashi: Obito get a handle on your disaster Obito: DON’T YOU TALK ABOUT MY BOY THAT WAY
Jumping back a tiny bit though, Obito regularly asks Yamato to use his Mokuton to seal up Deidara's chakra for a bit. (Is this how it works in canon? Probably not, I think it's just bijuu chakra, but I also Do Not Care.)
But honestly, when it comes to Team Seven, Deidara is that one older cousin at family reunions that teaches you how to hotwire a car. -- Deidara is okay with Naruto and Sakura, ish. -- He antagonizes Sai in a way that ends in tears. -- He. Has to be kept away from Sasuke. For a variety of reasons, most of which have to do with Eyes and Explosions and Itachi.
Sasuke barely remembers who Deidara is, he’s just grumpy he couldn’t bring anyone from Taka with him.
Meanwhile Taka is just. They’re assholes? Taka bitches enough to hunt him down. They excuse it with "Juugo needs you" -- "I'm in a different dimension, eighty years in the past, how did you..." -- "Science ninja. Best sensor on the continent." -- "Also we asked Orochimaru for help." -- "Yeah, we asked Orochimaru for help."
Taka being there signals a marked improvement in Sasuke’s demeanor and cooperation, and Kakashi just resigns himself to having four more kids. -- Juugo is a godsend when he's not being set off into a homicidal rage. And he apologizes! Meanwhile, Karin and Suigetsu are The Worst.
T7+Obito and Deidara have been in the past and bullying the clans into a peace for like a week and then they just hear MASSIVE ROARING a mile away and Sasuke's like "Oh, hey, it's my idiots." -- Sasuke’s grinning for the first time in weeks. (It’s tiny and barely perceptible but it’s there.) -- I don't know that Taka could actually help at all, but they sure can cause more problems. Unlike Deidara, most of them are not intentional.
Suigetsu: Hey, Sasuke, so I know that Deidara guy tried to kill you... Sasuke: He did? Suigetsu: --but would you be mad if I tried to hook up with him? Sasuke: I don't care, knock yourself out.
(Suigetsu is the kind of man that wears tearaway pants just to reveal rainbow leggings that say "I'M GAY" on them. If Suigetsu and Sasuke didn't have at least one 'no homo' make-out session... well, I wouldn't put money on it either way, but I do think it's a valid reading of the text.)
------------------
Deidara: What's it like when Obito actually decides to be serious? Kakashi: Uhhhhhhhhhhhh Obito, previously:
Kakashi: Trauma. It's trauma.

I’m done! Whew! I may go back and watch some of the filler arcs I missed but I finished all the canon episodes. Man that was a roller coaster. Pretty good ending though. I’m left with good nostalgic feelings. That’s the best kind of ending! Several thoughts on this awesome show:
1) Tsukishima or whatever his name was needed to die. No ifs, ands or buts. In fact I was less mad when I found out Ginjo was behind the whole thing. Which is weird… but whatever I loathe Tsukishima and I really wished he’d perished, and if not for a contrived message he would have. I mean come on even Ichigo died from a fist sized hole in the chest.
2. What is happening with everyone’s hair?! I love it! I love it too much actually because Kenpachi is rocking this hairstyle that seems reminiscent of Byakuya’s style and let me tell you I could noooot! Every time they panned to him I was like wait hold on? Am I seriously diggin Kenpachi right now? That’s a definitely yes, so crushing on him! Don’t get me started on Byakuya’s little style change. He’s so attractive it’s a little annoying. They should throw a mask on him like Kakashi so girls don’t swoon when he walks down the street for goodness sake.
3. Anybody else get some serious broship vibes from Kenpachi and Byakuya? Cause I did and MAN I really need some broship fic of them now! Like Byakuya finally made a friend and it’s not AT ALL anyone you would think he would go for. But then again maybe it is, because it’s unbearably clear that while he can be an arrogant terd that whole icy front is just that. A front. He totally enjoys his rivalry with Kenpachi and he respects and dare I say even admires Ichigo. I mean let’s just highlight this bit of paraphrased gold, “I appreciate you, but if your Ichigo’s enemy I’m cutting you down no matter who you are”… this said under a form of insane hypnosis, past manipulation, whatever. The short of it is he loves that kid for whacking him upside the head and letting him know it’s okay for him to love his sister… but I’m getting off point here. I really wanna see some fics where Byakuya and Kenpachi just reek havoc on soul society during one of their challenges, or get drunk together (curtesy of a little experiment of Mayuri) and destroy a section of soul society with their newly discovered drunken fists and have to do the hangover, beaten up bloody and so undignified walk of shame to Captain Yamamoto the next morning 😂
4. What is WRONG with Isshin?! Why does he have ZERO communication with his children?! It would be different if he didn’t know, but the first time he saw his kid walking around as a shinigami he didn’t think “hey maybe kid needs to know some things”. He couldn’t give the kiddo a bit of warning about Ginjo BEFORE the guy completed his goal and/or had Isshins daughters memories rewritten?! I just feel like with a short convo or two Ichigo could have been saved hours of worry, despair, and fighting through cluelessness of the enemies motives. Sheesh!
5. I feel like I missed Kenapchi’s bankai. Didn’t he get one? I have a half memory of seeing it on the cover of a random bleach manga volume but did it ever make it on screen? I hope it wasn’t in any of the filler arcs I skipped 👀 but why would anyone put something like that in a filler arc? Maybe it was fan made…. Guess I’m going to have to do some research on that one cause if it’s onscreen it’s definitely something I need to see!
6. This whole rewatch started because I watched the teaser for the new Bleach movie and so of course YouTube took it upon itself to rec a fmv about all of Ichigo’s forms and I got to Vasto Lord before I had to pause and pull up the show cause I wanted to see it lol! I just now unpaused the video and finished it and now I’m DEFINITELY going to have to go back and watch the filler (and movies???) because I missed whatever form Kushinada is, and also the True Zanpkato and Horn of Salvation looked really cool! .... So here’s a salute to the video that rekindled the Bleach flame!
youtube
#bleach#bleach season 16#bleach spoilers#I mean… is it really a spoiler at this point?#I’m so late to the game lol#great ending though!#I’m satisfied#I mean I felt the last season was a bit…#out of place?#but whatever it was okay#except for#In kagomes voice ‘die Tsukishima!’#ichigo kurosaki#isshin kurosaki#kenpachi zaraki#byakuya kuchiki#now I’m REALLY hype for the movie lol#Youtube

@magical-girl-coral
Known facts: Gin is one of the biggest fan favorites in Bleach, Kubo himself admitted that he was surprised with how popular Gin is with female fans, and the Shinigami Women's Association were about to publish a picture book of him before he's betrayal
Conclusion - Gin definitely has a secret fanclub that would buy a picture of his eyes for one million dollars (or whatever currency Soul Society uses).
out of character. He admits that he tried making Gin as unlikable and unconventional as possible to avoid becoming popular, but people ended up still liking him even pre-death / intent reveal, etc. so yeah I think Tite’s words are less of a “wow he’s a top fan favorite” and more of a “stop liking my intentionally unlikable character” which goes to show that authors in general really mess up when they try to force the audience to feel a certain way about a character. This all came up around the time Gin fought Toshiro, and soon afterwards ( and when the fan favorite topic popped in ) he has Gin break Rukia’s will. Who knows if that was a necessary moment, or a moment of -- for lack of better wording -- retaliation at his popularity. A “look, see this guy? He’s an ass!” but lo and behold, people like this garbage boy anyways. I think ultimately Tite felt a tad bit frustrated at Gin, hence his swift departure from the narrative after his death, despite playing such a key role in Aizen’s ascension and having a connection to Rangiku, Izuru, that persisted.
This is just what I’ve discerned from the snippets of commentary I’ve seen from Tite over the years regarding him, as well as the vibe I’ve gathered via experience in writing controversially strongly liked/strongly disliked characters who are villans and pose a tough challenge for morality, purity policing, etc. BUT I DIGRESS.
It’s funny because the Shinigami Women’s Association has Rangiku in it, and she likely had an agreeable Gin lounging around who didn’t mind if she pressed for such things. But also, of course, in Gin fashion: he ended up vanishing / ruining everything before this little project of hers could be printed and distributed. Subsequently cancelled. I wonder if Rangiku still has those pictures, it’s something to remember him by.
One of my favorite Easter eggs to include into my writing is the occasional tip of the hat at the utter chaos and mess of Gin’s eye color changing. I PRETEND, or rather, I headcanon that people actually don’t know what color Gin’s eyes are due to him never revealing them. Based off of the true chaos: pre-volume 20′s cover release revealing his canon eye color had such ridiculous theories. YELLOW in video games, because that was creepy right ? Black, I believe, in another game. DON’T GET ME STARTED WITH THE RED, in the anime’s massive mistake at assuming because Gin’s evil, his eyes must be an evil color -- hey, red’s evil ! Sigh. NOPE NEVERMIND YOU GOT ME STARTED. They were already on thin ice with me considering they added a whole FULL FIGHT into the Toshiro skirmish instead of it being, like in the manga, a one-two exchange. Toshiro uses his Shikai, strikes at Gin, freezes his arm, and then Gin ends the fight by shooting a hidden Shinso out at Toshiro, who dodges, and then it soars towards Hinamori. ALAS, THAT’S BORING: let’s fuck shit up by making Shinso, the wakizashi, a katana length for 85% of this non-canon fight, make Toshiro’s eyes glow, make them joust with a run-by moment of utter stupidity, give Gin a haircut, and just generally add all this unnecessary shit when in reality the two captains clashed for the duration of two pages. OKAY THAT RANT ASIDE...
There are definitely variations of bets: what color are Gin’s eyes ( because not many people have ever seen them ! ) and who can make him reveal his eyes ( think: that one Naruto filler episode where Naruto & co. attempt to make Kakashi take off his mask ) and Gin just FEEDS into this chaos by finding ridiculous ways to avoid or otherwise mess with fulfilling this bet. I CAN SEE PEOPLE WANTING EVIDENCE, and getting these blurry stalker photos as Gin evades them.
I KNOW I RANTED A LOT BUT THE EYE COLOR THING JUST UNLOCKS A CERTAIN ANNOYANCE AND I MUST SEETHE OPENLY FOR ALL TO KNOW MY RAGE.
#[ out of character ] masquerade; hide your face#me: tries to talk abt gin's popularity without ranting#also me: aND ANOTHER THING!!!#also also me: dont rant abt the toshiro vs gin anime adaptation ok it cant hurt you its not real#also also ALSO me: the anime adaptation of toshiro vs gin ruined my life and here's why it should ruin yours too and you should froth with#absolute hatred.#like me.#ASWBDENHRFJM

TOP ANIME QUOTES OF ALL TIME
Anime is a form of different variety of characters and their dialogues. In some of that dialogue, we found our motivation and inspiration. Apparently, with different characters, we make a strong connection just by feeling his/her emotion. And, the words that they are telling through their character.
Aside from the fun and excitement, some characters also have the wisest, smartest, most powerful anime quotes. About dreams, pain, life, and happiness that are so relatable.
1. KURAPIKA “I DO NOT FEAR DEATH, I FEAR ONLY THAT MY RAGE WILL FADE OVER TIME.”
– Hunter × Hunter
Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He is rather smarter than most. He doesn’t open to people as easily as someone of his age should, also he can be very judgmental to others letting them know that they are wrong or just being blunt.
2. RORONOA ZORO “ONLY I CAN CALL MY DREAM STUPID.”
– One Piece
Zoro is a swordsman and he is the first crewmate of the famous pirate crew. However, his dream is very high for ordinary people. In short, he wants to be the greatest swordsman of all time. So, he wants to surpass Mihawk and be the greatest of the era.
3. MATSUMOTO RANGIKU “I KNOW SORROW IS NOT TERRIFYING. WHAT IS TERRIFYING IS TO KNOW YOU CAN’T GO BACK TO HAPPINESS YOU COULD HAVE.”
– Bleach
Rangiku Matsumoto is a female Shinigami that hailed from the North Rukongai. She was the former Lieutenant of the Tenth Division in the Gotei 13, having served in this capacity during the tenure of both Captain Isshin Shiba and Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya.
4. OKABE “NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS. THAT’S WHY ITS POTENTIAL IS INFINITE.”
– Stiens;Gate
Okabe usually addresses himself as mad-scientist “Kyouma Hououin”. Moreover, he can come across as strange and delusional, talking to himself on the phone and laughing maniacally. Later he figures out that he can do time travel and the anime gets interesting from the point.
5. PAIN “THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND TRUE PAIN CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND TRUE PEACE.”
– Naruto
Nagato appears as the acting leader of the Akatsuki who wishes to capture the tailed beasts sealed into various shinobi around the shinobi world. So, the above quote is said in the context of their past life experience.
6. KAKASHI “THOSE WHO BREAK RULES ARE SCUM,.. BUT THOSE WHO ABANDON THEIR FRIEND ARE WORSE THAN SCUM.”
– Naruto
Kakashi is very relaxed and calm, especially during combat. No matter the situation, he calmly assess the task at hand and leads his team to success. In addition, he was the mentor of team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura). The above quote is said by Kakashi to team 7 during training.
7. SAITAMA “I’LL LEAVE TOMORROW’S PROBLEMS TO TOMORROW’S ME.”
– One Punch Man
One punch man is actually a comedy anime and the main character is Saitama which is hilarious. The title character, Saitama is a bald-headed 25-year-old man who is bored of fighting because he is effortlessly able to defeat enemies with a single punch.
8. ROY MUSTANG “MY PAWN. MY BISHOP. MY ROOK. MY KNIGHT. MY QUEEN HAS BEEN TAKEN. BUT I STILL HAVEN’T BEEN CHECKMATED JUST YET.”
– Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
In short, Mustang is extremely intelligent and adaptable. He is a fire alchemist. Later on, he became a paternal Commander who cares about his men’s emotional and physical well-being.
9. SHOTA AIZAWA “THERE’S NOTHING CRUELER THAN LETTING A DREAM END MIDWAY.”
– My Hero Academy
He prefers working as an underground hero. In addition, he was assigned to be the Homeroom Teacher for Class 1-A in U.A. High School. Moreover, he is a very strict teacher that often tells lies or pulls “logical ruses” in order to make his students put their maximum effort into their training.
10. MIKASA “THE WORLD IS MERCILESS, AND IT’S ALSO VERY BEAUTIFUL.”
– Attack on Titan
Firstly, Mikasa is the female protagonist of the series. Likewise, She is the best human fighter after Captain Levi. Though she desires only to live a peaceful life with Eren. So, Mikasa chose to follow him into the military where she is considered the best soldier among the 104th Cadet Corps. And later she joined the Scout Regiment to continue following and protecting Eren.
RECOMMENDED QUOTES:
“The world isn’t perfect. But it’s there for us, doing the best it can….that’s what makes it so damn beautiful.” – Roy Mustang (Full Metal Alchemist)
“Those who stand at the top determine what’s wrong and what’s right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!” – Don Quixote Doflamingo (One Piece)
“You shouldn’t be crying over those things that happened in the past. Think of this, why do you think your eyes are placed in front? That is for you to see what’s up ahead.” – Doraemon
“Knowing you’re different is only the beginning. If you accept these differences you’ll be able to get past them and grow even closer.” – Miss Kobayashi
“No single thing is perfect by itself. That’s why we’re born to attract other things to make up for what we lack. I think we start walking in the right direction only after we start getting our counterparts besides us.” – Itachi Uchiha
“Do you always want to live hiding behind the mask you put up for the sake of others? You’re you, and there’s nothing wrong with that.” – Ymir
“Moving on doesn’t mean you forget about things. It just means you have to accept what’s happened and continue living.” – Erza Scarlet
“I’m not going there to die. I’m going to find out if I’m really alive.” – Spike Spiegel
“I love heroes, but I don’t want to be one. Do you even know what a hero is!? For example, you have some meat. Pirates will feast on the meat, but the hero will distribute it among the people! I want to eat the meat!” – Monkey D Luffy
“I’ll solve equations with my right hand and write names with my left. I’ll take a potato chip… and eat it!” – Yagami Light
In conclusion, these are the list of best quotes from an anime that is funny, inspiring, motivating, and so on.
Make sure to check out the list of Anime Girl characters.

Shoyo-Fēng
Date of Birth: October 10th Place of Birth: Feng Compound, Seireitei, Soul Society Rank: 3rd Seat (7th Division) Species: Shinigami-Born Soul (Artificial)
(Light AU Modification: Kakashi Shinigami AU influences parts of this character, as played opposite waspandr)
Appearance Shoyo is a tall young woman with dark hair, and a resting expression that trends towards the intense side. Often when others know her parents, they will draw the comparison of her facial features to that of Soi-fon, but her height and build to that of Isane. Though Shoyo’s face often intimidates others, she generally tends to have a resting expression that’s interpreted as thoughtful, often causing others to assume she’s lost in thought, rather than simply quiet.
By the age of seventeen Shoyo was the same height as her mother, but by adulthood stands taller than Isane at 6’4”.
Generally Shoyo wears the standard shihakusho, with the sole modifications being a Shitagi that’s been replaced with a white turtle-necked shirt, and a large yellow scarf that her mother gave to her as a child. This scarf is worn by Shoyo at all times, to the point that it has a similar nature to that of her Shihakusho, and it always returns as her spiritual power returns to her if it’s damaged. This scarf is wide and long, to the point that it would drag on the ground behind her when she was younger, and serves as a cover for Shoyo’s mouth most of the time.
When on patrol or assignment into the world of the living, Shoyo dresses as a high-school student, usually wearing the Karakura high school uniform, though her scarf still remains. Similarly, Shoyo often wears comfortable clothes when not on duty, preferring sweats to anything else.
Personality A kind soul by nature, Shoyo was often written off in her younger years, particularly during her training in the academy, as an ill-suited Shinigami for any division other than her mother’s fourth. Not the type to be needlessly cruel or violent, Shoyo was even known to allow other trainees to win spars so as to spare their feelings, though when asked by her mother why she did so, she told her that she didn’t actually care for fighting, and if she couldn’t end it quickly by killing the other, she’d end it quickly by allowing the other to win. In fact, Shoyo’s distaste for fighting was so strong that she trained until she became as strong as she is, so that she could better avoid or shorten combat in the future.
Due to her height, Shoyo suffers from similar body-image issues to her mother Isane, though instead of choosing to eat malnourishing meals, Shoyo often disguises her height by hunching, or minimizing her presence in any other way possible, most notably by refusing to speak unless it becomes necessary, or when only families and trusted people are around.
This fearful nature has inhibited Shoyo’s ability to fight Hollows on a number of occasions, as when presented with the creatures at any level of strength there’s an equally likely chance that she will break down in some sort of panic attack as she is to fight.
As a child Shoyo would make frequent mention of her aspirations to become Captain Commander
Inspired by the ideals of 7th division, Shoyo does not yet embody them, but instead aspires to.
Shoyo is known around Soul Society for having an intense love of dogs, especially large and fluffy ones. She’s often known to sink into their fur to ease her anxiety, and allow them to lay on top of her, even if they interrupt her reading. During her free-time Shoyo enjoys painting, calligraphy, and reading books.
Relationships Soi-Feng: One of her mothers, Shoyo has very little in common with Soi, though she loves her dearly. Soi is an inspiration for her, and she desperately wants nothing more than to be a great Shinigami like her.
Isane Kotetsu: Shoyo’s other mother, she finds herself relating easily to Isane. Though they share a similar insecurity regarding their height, Isane never allowed Shoyo the chance to undereat, and Isane feels a deep sense of pride.
Yushiro Shihoin: Something of an older brother to Shoyo, she is enamored with the older Shinigami throughout her formative, years, and until she left for the academy would frequently follow him around while calling him “Nii-chan”.
Yoruichi Shihoin: Shoyo’s god-mother, Yoruichi is the cool aunt and her bad influence.
Kisuke Urahara: God-father of Shoyo, he was in part a donor for her birth, and later her mentor when the nature of her shikai proved to be similar to his bankai.
Kiyone Kotetsu: Her aunt, Shoyo often would hide behind Kiyone when she was younger. Often she will confide in Kiyone when she suffers growing pains.
Kakashi Hatake: Something of Shoyo’s personal mentor and idol, an old friend of her mother’s, Kakashi has had something of a significant impact on the girl’s tastes and desires in life. Upon graduation she joined his division.
Marechiyo Omaeda: Another uncle figure for Shoyo, he’s one of the few older Shinigami officers that she’ll speak to outloud, in part because he’s taller than her. He would often play Shunpo Tag with her when she was younger.
Ichika Aburai: A childhood peer, Ichika was prone to bullying Shoyo despite the Aburai girl being younger. It only happened a couple of times before Soi put a stop to it via direct threat to Renji and Rukia.
Biography Born sometime following the fall of Yhwach, and prior to the birth of Kazui Kurosaki, Shoyo-Fēng is the daughter of Isane Kotetsu and Soi- Fēng, the methods of her creation are presently scientific in nature, and somehow related to Urahara, though Soi refuses to divulge the specific details to anyone except for Isane.
On more than one occasion it’s been noted that Shoyo is a shinigami with monstrous potential, but a poor disposition for combat. Often picked on and teased by her peers for a variety of things, though the most prominent reason being that she would simply allow it to happen, Shoyo would become averse to confrontation.
As a child, Soi would give Shoyo a large scarf, telling her that it was all she needed to be strong and brave. This possession would become something of a support pillar for Shoyo, easing her anxiety around others somewhat, and keeping her anchored in many situations.
While growing up, Shoyo would be influenced by her mother’s fellow captain, Kakashi, in a number of ways. For one, she grew to adore the idea and ideals of the 7th to the point that it became her primary goal throughout training to join this division, much to her mother’s chagrin. In another, Shoyo has a powerful love for dogs, and has been known to adopt strays within the seireitei, either by picking them up and bringing them home, or setting up food outside of their home for the local dogs to eat.
During her time in the Shinigami Academy, Shoyo would almost always throw sparring matches with her peers intentionally, allowing them to enjoy a meaningless victory, while she was able to avoid lengthier spars from the likes of the scrappy. The only occasion in which Shoyo was ever violent towards another plus or shinigami soul was when an elder trainee at the academy tried to assert his authority as “senpai” over the daughter of two captains by confiscating her non-uniform scarf.
Isane would later speculate that due to the breaks neither being clean she was very malicious in the nature of this assault.
Upon graduation from the academy, Shoyo and Kakasshi made a coordinated harassment effort of Soi to not force Shoyo to join the Onmitsukidō, and allow her to join her division of choice, which indeed worked. Within a year Shoyo was able to manifest a shikai, enabling her to become an officer, and due to her position as the child of two captains her abilities quickly allowed her to take a high seated position in the division.
Abilities and Skills Lieutenant-Level Shinigami: Though her rank is formally 3rd Seat, many would regard Shoyo at the level of Lieutenant, at least on the low end. This is often assumed to be the case because of the talents of her parents being passed on to Shoyo. While this may be what happened on some level, Shoyo feels that her power was earned through hard work, and training from “Uncle Kisuke”. Specifically, Shoyo’s goal as a Shinigami is to master Zankensoki like he has. -Shunpo Expert: Considered an advanced level of Hoho, Shoyo is able to flash step at an extremely high speed thanks in part to her mother’s teaching her to use the technique from childhood. Her level is so advanced that she can replicate certain abilities displayed by other powerful Hoho users, and create up to 5 speed clones at a time. -Hakudo Expert: As a martial artist, Shoyo is considered so advanced that she was able to overpower a more experienced student and break both of his arms bare-handed. -Kidō Master: An area that Shoyo inherited Isane’s expertise in, her ability with Kidō is often regarded as high-lieutenant level. -Zanjutsu Expert: Shoyo is able to manifest her Shikai, which indicates that her ability with her sword is high-level. -High Spiritual Power: Born with a naturally strong Spiritual Pressure, Shoyo is believed to have a similar potential for spirit power that her parents do.
Shunkō (Ice): Shoyo received instruction in the technique of Shunkō from her mother. Shoyo’s natural aptitude for Kidō suited her well to using the technique, which enables her to use it in much the same ways as its other users. Notably, Shoyo’s version of the technique manifests into physical ice, making the technique require different applications, and potentially more dangerous to the user. As she uses it to enhance or deflect attacks, she quickly has to build more ice to restore the technique’s functionality, though it seems that when she is in a zone of perfect control the need to generate physical ice is no longer necessary.
Immense Willpower: The most notable ability of Shoyo’s arsenal, she is possessed of a superhuman drive that doesn’t allow her to submit to defeat. Despite Shoyo’s aversion to combat, she pursues her dreams with a single-mindedness that, if something comes in her way, she refuses to lose until death.
“Stealth”: Less a skill and more a manifestation of her quiet nature, it’s often joked that because Shoyo rarely speaks that she would be well-suited to stealth operations. This even extends to her Spiritual Presence, making it easy for others to miss her.
Superhuman Reflexes: Notably, in tandem with her Shikai ability, Shoyo is able to react to events at an absurd speed.
Shuuma (Master of Intervals): A Shikai with the command word “As the intervals in space are filled, so I will decide what fills them”. Once the Shikai is activated, Shoyo is able to teleport matter that isn’t in contact with her in that moment. More precisely, rather than traditional teleportation, she causes an exchange of matter from between different areas of space, and it is due to this mentality when approaching teleportation that she is able to essentially slice matter cleanly if she only moves part of an object or person. There seems to be no limit to the durability or nature of the things she displaces, in terms of durability. The rules and stipulations of Shuuma’s ability to teleport matter are as-follows: The mass of the matter that Shoyo intends to move cannot exceed the amount of mass that she can carry individually, she must know the precise location of both points in space, and have seen that space in the past, as well as being able to gesture with her swords towards one of the two destinations, or matter that she intends to displace. Shoyo has been known to not only displace physical matter in a more low-tech way of blocking and deflecting incoming attacks, as well as moving targets into the trajectory of her attacks, but as well as removing parts of an opponent from their body, redirecting their own attacks onto them. Shuuma, in its sealed state, is an odachi, so as to be an appropriate length for someone of her height, with a cloud-like cross-guard, and gold-and-black wrappings along the hilt. When released into shikai it changes into a white-handled tantō with which she is easily able to direct her weapon for its power’s purpose.

"9th Division? Never heard of it. Sounds fake." (Shinigami!Kakashi)
She glances at the other.
She really DOESN’T wanna respond to him, she would very much love it if she could just ignore him, but unfortunately she does spot the Lieutenant’s badge on his arm. One of Captain Iba’s men?
“Is there something I can help you with, sir?”

The light of the stars in the sky that I looked up to
@sumigakure Halloween Event 2017
Prompt 14: Bleach AU
Word Count: 1153
Rating: T (for safety)
On AO3
Kakashi sat on the porch of his captain’s quarters, deep in the heart of his division, staring at the cold, unfeeling stars. For all that the Seireitei was the afterlife for the dead, always mild, always unchanging, it felt deader and colder tonight than it had any right to be. Maybe it was the fact he was the only one still left awake, that everyone else was in their beds dreaming, but he felt like he was the only one left in the world at that moment. Caught between this reality and the one of his recollection, neither giving him any peace.
The memory kept spinning in circles around and around in his head. Flash stepping through the False Karakura, past ruined buildings and ongoing fights, chasing after Obito’s reiatsu signature. His haori flapped like massive white wings in the wind, like a white flag of surrender, Kakashi’s mind supplied helpfully. He’d been so proud of his haori when he’d made captain, the pristine white fabric and the way it marked him out as one of the most powerful Shinigami in all of Soul Society. Now it was stained in a way that all the bleach in the world would not, could not, remove. Power, and it meant nothing.
Catching Obito and Madara together had broken his heart. That Obito was willingly working towards destroying their home, their friends, going along with the plans of a madman. You lost even before you fought. Why couldn’t you have just realized his role sooner, asked him why he betrayed yo - betrayed Sensei and Rin and Kushina and the rest of Konoha. But you were too much of a coward, and you lost. What kind of captain can you be called, that you lost to a lieutenant without even drawing your blade? Kakashi has thousands of questions he wished he had asked before, back in the Academy, back on that rooftop. Regrets, he supposes, but regrets isn’t the right word for yearning? For the conversations he replays from their youth, to return to those happy times when they were both younger and less jaded. If there had ever been a time that Obito wasn’t jaded. No, that was wrong. Kakashi had seen his smile time and again and again. They had been innocent once. Obito and Rin and Kakashi.
Rin. Their friend, who had dreamed of entering the 4th division. Who had died mysteriously, who had wasted away from a deep and unending sickness that had drained her slowly of reiatsu. Who he had dreamed of, knocked out cold on that rooftop, when Obito had struck him down with a mockery of his kind smile. When Obito had taunted Kakashi for coming after him, barely able to stand. When they had faced each other as enemies in truth, when Obito had damaged Kakashi’s eye.
Kakashi hadn’t seen Obito’s actual fight against Madara, but Naruto and Sakura had. Naruto, who hadn’t come in time to save Obito, and Sakura, who had hidden herself to lay in wait but hadn’t been able to move to heal Obito in time, had let him come and answered him with bowed heads and heavy hearts and it wasn’t fair, that he only ever came too late. Kakashi’s tea trembles in the cup, long gone cold, and he has to set it aside to mask the trembling of his hands. He can’t tell if its rage or sadness - he thought he had gone numb, couldn’t feel anything in the aftermath.
Sakura who had told him Obito had lied to Madara about killing him, lied about having any feelings except those that pertained to destroying Konoha and had stopped Madara from killing her and the rest of the Rookie 9, had turned and betrayed Madara by shoving his zanpakto through Madara’s chest, blasted a hole through Madara’s chest. He’d managed to find the sole weakness to Madara’s Tsukuyomi, and tried to utilize it to avenge Rin.
Rin, who Madara had killed by leaching her reiatsu. Who had pretended to be sympathetic to Kakashi’s grief over his friend, who had pretended to understand and console and leave flowers on her grave like some psychopath. Madara, who had figured out how to turn himself into a Hollow, and had used the Hogyoku he had built to that end. It hadn’t mattered that Obito had stolen his Hogyoku, he’d still transformed. Had still used monstrous strength to rip off Obito’s arm, to slice him nearly in half. The betrayer betrayed, and betrayed in turn.
He’d done his best to not cry in front of the kids then, even prickly Sasuke who hated shinigami with a burning fervor had looked away when he failed. To be pitied by a Quincy, yet Kakashi didn't care.
He knew what happened next. Had gotten there in time to hold Obito as he died, see the blood stained white robes, get blood on himself, and cry as Obito apologized for failing, offered his eye to be with Kakashi so he wasn’t alone in seeing the future. He vaguely remembers Sakura coming in as Naruto and Madara fought, raining paths of destruction across the False Karakura, trying desperately to reject the damage and failing because Obito was already gone by then, then giving up at his request and transplanting a dark eye in place of the one in Kakashi’s damaged orbital. And then Kakashi had just held his scarred body close, because what was a world without Obito? Even when Obito had just been a betrayer, had gouged his eye, it was impossible to fathom. And now it wasn’t some false illusion or trick where Kakashi could just convince Obito to come home, Obito was lost to the cycle of reincarnation and there was nothing Kakashi could do to meet his friend again.
It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair that everyday went on like normal not that Madara is sealed and the regular drudge of life has been restored. Paperwork, training, meetings, more paperwork; Kakashi wants to scream but instead spends his days at Obito and Rin’s graves. Side by Side in a nice section of the 13th Division. He had had to fight the captain of the 3rd Division, but Konan had backed off after seeing the look in his eyes and had had her men stand down too. That was fine, Kakashi would have had no qualms about ripping through the 3rd Division if it had come to that. And yet, he wished he had fought them anyways. Tried to exorcise his demons on the end of a blade. Then he wouldn’t be where he was now.
Now, Kakashi sat on the porch of his quarters, unable to escape the movie tape reel running on repeat in his head, reliving the same moment as if trapped in an illusion. The light of the stars burned bright and cold and harsh, and Kakashi couldn’t help but remember and regret and yearn.

3, 9, 13, 22, 44, 45, 50: Are you into MCU fandom?
*stretches, warms up* ok let’s do this thing
3. name three favorite writers
Dorothy L Sayers, Georgette Heyer, Agatha Christie
9. do you set yourself deadlines?
Nope! I do forbid myself to work on X until I have done Y amount on Z though.
13. hardest character to write
I actually think Naruto is pretty hard to write. His blend of obtuseness, intuition, emotional intelligence, cheerfulness, temper, etc, is tricky to balance. Also, how much dattebayo is too much?
22. favorite story you’ve ever written
I’m really proud of The Third Date. Sai is a tricky POV character and I actually think I managed to get him right here. I love Sai and he deserves more character development. Also anyone who thinks he doesn’t really love Ino can meet me in the parking lot outside 7-11 for a no-holds-barred staring contest.
44. do you write linear or do you write future scenes if you feel like it?
I write any scene that comes to me no matter where it occurs in the narrative. Inspiration is like a blessing from a fairy at a christening, you say thank you and take it right away. If you try to “thanks but later” that shit it never comes back.
45. share the synopsis of a story you work on that you haven’t published yet
Sasuke is disqualified from the Chuunin Exams tournament due to late arrival. Gaara more or less follows the plan of attack. Orochimaru succeeds in killing the Third Hokage with the aid of the Edo Tensei first and second Hokage before he can summon the Shinigami, and takes over Sasuke’s body. Naruto and Kakashi flee the village, meeting up with Jiraiya and Itachi (who leaves the Akatsuki once he hears his brother has become Orochimaru’s host). Sakura and Hinata become Kabuto’s unwilling apprentices. Temari flees and ends up joining the Akatsuki as Konan’s disciple. A three-way war develops between Orochimaru, the Akatsuki, and those loyal to the jinchuuriki who are wanted by both, while Naruto hopes to save both Sasuke and Sakura, no matter who tells him it’s impossible.
(@thetoxicstrawberry it’s ya fave)
50. Are you into MCU fandom?
Nope. I’ve seen and enjoyed some of the movies, but fundamentally I just can’t get into superhero fandoms of the Marvel/DC ilk as universes because nothing seems to matter to me in them. Villains always escape and start over, nobody stays dead, sacrifices get retconned, Captain fucking America can be a Nazi??? No thanks. Just always struck me as pointless. I like investment and emotional payoff, not “the stakes are made up and the endings don’t matter”.
Thanks for the questions! Asks are from here.

Top 10 Strongest Naruto Characters
With the manga currently ended and the anime drawing to a close, it's time to have a look at the power positions of the Naruto-verse once more as well as change it accordingly. It's definitely hard to rate them appropriately, specifically when a growing number of powerful baddies maintain showing up to challenge our heroes.
With that stated, only personalities who we have seen fighting in the collection will be consisted of and their power ranking will certainly be chosen relative to exactly how well they did against whom in particular battles as well as their ranking will certainly be changed appropriately. This would certainly lead to the exemption of the god-like Rikudou Sennin and personalities like the trailed beasts.
10. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi is the older brother or Nii-chan of Sasuke, our favourite avenger. He was hailed as the youngest ever before to become an ANBU captain and was treasured by the clan for being a prodigy. This was all before he committed the Uchiha Massacre and also took off Konoha, leaving a broken Sasuke clamouring for vengeance.
During the initial fifty percent of the series, Itachi would make numerous looks however never ever devote to a full-scale fight. However, whenever he does appear, any kind of challenger he takes on versus programs severe resistance and also caution when violating him, as he is that frightening.
When he finally challenges against Sasuke, someone who would eventually become one of the most effective characters in the collection, he defeats him to the point that Sasuke turn to extracting Orochimaru. The frightening fact of the situation is this; he had not been also battling to eliminate, yet to shield Sasuke. All this was done while he had a terminal disease. The world simply isn't really prepared for a full powered Itachi.
9. Minato Namikaze
Minato is the Yondaime Hokage (4th Hokage) who gained the name of The Yellow Flash after his activities at the fight of Kannabi Bridge. These actions consist of decimating the entire military of the opposition in a flash by himself using the Hiraishin no Jutsu. The Hiraishin allowed him to teleport around the battlefield instantly, facilitating his loss of an entire military.
Later on, it was revealed that this scary figure was the daddy of Naruto, and also he had sealed fifty percent of the Kyuubi's chakra right into his infant boy in various other to conserve both of the town as well as his kid. Prior to he was taken in by the Shinigami he secured the other half in himself. As a result of this, he was able to access the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode like Naruto when he was summoned by the Edo Tensei.
The capability to command fifty percent of Kyuubi's chakra at will alongside his previous capability truly makes him a horror to see on the battlefield.
8. Discomfort/ Nagato Uzumaki
With the current bad guys like Madara and Kaguya, foes of crazy power levels, lots of have actually forgotten what a frightening figure Pain struck in the past. He was initially the shrouded number that regulated an entire organisation of S-Class criminals making use of only worry as well as power. Little was found out about him until his place was found by Jiraiya. The toad sage was then quickly slain by Pain.
Pain proceeded to not only defeat powerful personalities like Kakashi as well as numerous Jounin of Konoha at the same time, he utilized a jutsu so effective that it leveled the totality of Konoha in a solitary almighty press as if calling forth the power of the gods.
It was just the cooperations of Naruto, the toads, Hinata and the Intel from Jiraiya as well as Kakashi that made it possible for Naruto to eventually and also marginally defeat the self-declared god. It was just near his fatality that he truly demonstrated why he is worthy of to be put at the level of a god, for he broke via the limits of life and fatality as well as restored everybody he killed during his assault on Konoha.
7. Killer Bee
Killer Bee was strong also as a kid, being the just one with the ability of doing a double lariat with A, the quickly to be Raikage. He later got wardenship of the Hachibi after its previous Jinchuriki was eliminated.
By himself, Killer Bee is already rather a capable ninja with extreme physical expertise along with proficiency over his chakra. He wields the distinct Acrobat design, permitting him to consume to 7 blades simultaneously to attack his opponent in a manner evocative hip hop. When integrated with his lightning chakra, he has the ability to tear anything he encounters to shreds.
With the help of Hachibi, Killer Bee is much more terrifying as he has complete control over the Bijuu chakra. With each other, they are able to stand along with Naruto in the battle against 7 various other Bijuu and also Obito simultaneously. He truly deserves his title of Guardian of Kumo, for none can break past this unstoppable force of nature.
6. Obito Uchiha
As soon as the trainee of the well known Minato Namikaze alongside Kakashi Hatake as well as Rin Nohara, Obito was. Nonetheless, it was not his period with Minato that gave him the expertise that he boasts throughout the collection. It was after he was left for dead by his colleagues that he was rescued by Madara Uchiha and trained to become a powerful ninja.
He not just has an Everlasting Mangekyo Sharingan in one eye yet a Rinnegan in the other that he stole from the remains of the previously mentioned Discomfort. With 2 god-like dojutsu at his command, Obito was able to confine 7 Bijuu at the same time and also annihilate the entirety of the Shinobi Alliance at once. It was only the timely arrival of Naruto and also Killer Bee that held him off.

5. Hashirama Senju
Hashirama was the Shodaime Hokage of Konoha, starting the village alongside Madara Uchiha He was popular for his timber release that was said to have unmatched power. Its true expertise was its ability to suppress the Bijuu, enabling Hashirama to seal them right into containers. His best property is his exceptional vital force, due to being a reincarnation of Asura.
This substantial reserves of vital force allowed him to regrow grievous wounds conveniently, something that Tsunade can only copy via excellent initiative. His huge powers also enabled him to spew out jutsu after jutsu, quickly plowing with any kind of adversary he might discover. It was just his fantastic moral compass that quit him from dominating the Shinobi world while he lived, as even Madara admitted that he would certainly not have been able to beat Hashirama.
4. Sasuke Uchiha.
As the self-proclaimed avenger of his clan, Sasuke has stopped at nothing to get as much power as feasible to achieve his goal. He has actually trained under lots of effective Shinobi like Kakashi, Orochimaru and also perhaps even Obito. With the death of Itachi at his hands, he has even acquired the Infinite Mangekyou Sharingan, making him a lot more effective.
It must also be noted he gained access to the Rinnegan due to being a reincarnation of Indra, permitting him to access both dojutsu at the same time. This placed him as a formidable risk over even the similarity Obito, as his capabilities are normally gained. It's a good thing he associated Team 7, ultimately, isn't it?
3. Naruto Uzumaki
As the protagonist of the collection, it's not a surprise that Naruto rates so highly on the checklist. He has seemingly unrestricted Chakra as a result of being the reincarnation of Asura. This, coupled with the powerful powers he gets from Kurama, offers him basically unlimited shops of power, allowing him to bombard his opponents with Rasengan after Rasengan.
With the Nine-Tails Chakra Setting, he had the ability to stand up to the likes of Kaguya with the help of Sasuke, something that is seemingly impossible due to her goddess status. However, it is not jutsu or chakra that lets him win his fights yet his never ending determination to secure his pals. As Naruto as soon as stated, "Quit on making me surrender!"
2. Madara Uchiha
Madara is the patriarch of the Uchiha clan as well as among the owners of Konoha. Refused by his very own people and also overcome with jealousy, he returned and left the town with the Kyuubi to battle Hashirama, just to be trounced by the Hokage. It went to the point of his death that he unlocked the Rinnegan, but he never got the chance to utilize it.
When he was totally revitalized at during the Fourth Shinobi World War, he had accessibility to both the Sharingan as well as Rinnegan at the same time. He was able to use both to devastating impact, ruining done in his course with informal convenience. In the end, it's vague if Naruto and also Sasuke would certainly be able to beat him if not for the intervention of ...
1. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki
Once a priestess who preferred for tranquility throughout the lands, there was. To that effect, she ate the fruit of the Shinju, providing her the present of chakra. Her chakra was so potent and also deadly by itself that the Shinobi of the modern age simply faded in contrast to her could. Excellent was her could that the populace relieved her from priestess to godhood, christening her with the title of Rabbit Siren.
As the progenitor of chakra, she has accessibility to all kinds of nature changes in addition to Kekkei Genkai. She has the ability to regrow any type of injuries effortlessly, as well as can even move via dimensions to level the field to her advantage. The greatest risk she commands against Naruto and Sasuke is the All-Killing Ash Bones. A single hit would rust their bodies to ash, giving them no choice but to evade after receiving the powers of their reincarnations.
She may have shed as soon as in the past, but it took the initiatives of an entire globe to beat her. Exactly what does that say about her power?
Final Thoughts
We are ultimately ending with the anime. After many years of airing, the long-running collection of Naruto will ultimately involve an end. With this checklist, we could remember the many powerhouses that were present throughout the series, as well as reminisce about the landscape changing fights that they had between each other.
Perhaps with the upcoming series of Boruto, the rankings will certainly transform as the newer generation surpasses the existing one, however, for currently, these are the Leading 10 Strongest Naruto Characters!

Division: 7th Division (Formerly 2nd Division) Rank: Lieutenant
Abilities and Skills Lieutenant-Level Shinigami: Kakashi is considered an elite Shinigami, though a relatively recent addition to these ranks, having held a seated officer position since a relatively young age for a soul. As other seated officers, Kakashi has expressed a great degree of proficiency in Shinigami arts, more than enough to graduate the Academy, and stand out from among his peers to gain this promotion. Even in this regard, Kakashi is considered exceptionally talented, being hailed as a genius at the academy, and consistently impressing his superiors. -Shunpo Master: Kakashi's strong point, and one of the primary reasons he joined 2nd Division, is high-speed movement. Generally Kakashi relies on a combination of hit-and-run tactics, as well as diversionary tactics that rely on his flash steps, allowing him to have honed his skills to the upper echelons of ability in this Shinigami art. Much like the captains of 2nd Division, Kakashi's speed can seem impossible at times, especially when used in tandem with his Shikai and Bankai. In terms of raw speed, he's considered second-only to Soi-Fon and her superiors in speed. --Senka: A technique frequently used by foes who are of an extremely weaker level than himself. He will generally evade an incoming attack, before appearing behind them, often attacking as he flashes by, or when directly behind them. He is able to seal Saketsu and Hakusui both rapidly as he does this, if he so wishes. Most cannot tell if they've been attacked from the front or back when he does this. --Utsusemi: An advanced technique that allows Kakashi to leave behind an Afterimage that appears to have been damaged by the attack. He often uses this in tandem with his other shunpo techniques and Shunkō to keep foes perpetually confused and on the defensive. --Afterimages: By moving at an extreme speed, Kakashi is able to leave behind duplicates of himself, numbering at about one to two dozen. They can move and appear to be indistinguishable from Kakashi. They don't last very long if unattended.
-Hakudo Expert: An impressive martial artist, Kakashi has been able to fend off foes of a similar, or greater, degree of proficiency than himself in Hakuda for short periods of time, though he rarely engages in extended exchanges. Kakashi has been able to fight off armed opponents, particularly those well-versed in the use of Zanpakutou, and take down Hollows many times larger than himself, solely with the use of martial arts. --One Thousand Years of Death!: A technique of Kakashi's design, it seems to be largely more involved with harassing and humiliating and opponent than actually dealing damage, though Kakashi has been known to use it once in a battle, then follow-up with stabbing an opponent, or hitting them with explosive devices, when his opponent assumes it's a harmless attack.
-Shunkō (Lightning): A highly-advanced technique that combined Kakashi's Hakudo and Kidō, he learned how to use this technique by observing Soi-Fon while his Kamui's Sharingan ability was active. By surrounding himself with Kido, electrical currents running up and down his arms, burning normal garments. As a countermeasure, he's elected to wear an insulated uniform to make his Shunkō less plainly obvious to others, while also keeping himself covered. Generally Kakashi focuses this into his arms and legs to allow himself to move even faster. Kakashi, like Yoruichi, is able to control and fire the Kidō directly from his body, though instead of exploding, the arcs of lightning he produces seem to be able to cut through most things. --Shunkō: Lightning Duplicates: Through precise use of his Shunkō and Shunpo in concert, Kakashi is able to use his Afterimages and Utsusemi, Kakashi is able to charge he images with his Shunkō, not only making them more believable, but causing those who collide with these images to immediately be struck with a raw burst of Kakashi's Reiatsu. This has been known to stun opponent, and even leave some with debilitating conditions after hitting too many of these duplicates.
-Zanjutsu Expert: As an officer-level Shinigami, Kakashi is extremely skilled in the use of his zanpakutou, though his actual swordplay does tend to grow rusty, as he often favors hand-to-hand combat, or sneak attack methods.
-Kidō Master: A master of Kidō, another area of specialty for Kakashi that he was well-known for, Kakashi has learned numerous incantations, and can modify existing ones. He has alluded to having created entirely new ones, and doesn't need to actually speak the incantations for most, and those that he's used often. After obtaining Kamui, Kakashi has managed to become versed in nearly every Kidō through the Sharingan ability. Kakashi is particularly capable in Hadō, though his Bakudō is also nothing to sneeze at. --Kaidō Practitioner: Kakashi's healing abilities are not quite as impressive, due in part to a lack of practice, but also as it can prove to be the most costly tax on his reiatsu, as there are few ways to make them efficient.
-Master Strategist and Tactician: With a natural flair for tactics and strategy, Kakashi often will evade and dodge foes, observing their attacks, patterns, and abilities. He will analyze the abilities of his foes, their conditions, and weaknesses, and draw conclusions on how to counter them. These are usually correct. Kakashi's strategies are rarely direct, commonly complicated, but also always masterful. Kakashi generally favors working in small groups and coordinating their abilities with his own to make the most of a team's composition.
-Expert Assassin: As a former member of the Onmitsukidō, Kakashi is versed in killing arts and assassination. Extremely capable in these areas, Kakashi was removed from this division after it was determined by his superiors that Kakashi didn't have the heart to be an assassin, even if he had the talent and ability. Kakashi is familiar with all disciplines of the punishment force, but rarely employs them himself. Kakashi is able to treat most types of poisons that don't immediately kill, and can resist common poisons himself, as part of his training in 2nd Division.
-Average Spiritual Power: Despite being a Lieutenant of 7th Division, Kakashi's Spiritual Pressure has always been considered unimpressive. He hasn't developed much in this area, having at one point being considered very weak, and now only growing to impressive with his lieutenant training. Kakashi's ability in other area largely compensate for this, but limit his ability to make repeated use of his more powerful abilities. Kakashi's Reiatsu is Sky Blue, though it changes to take on a violet pigment when releasing bankai (upon its achievement). --Masterful Reiatsu Control: Kakashi is able to control and use his reiatsu efficiently, hiding it from others, but also ensuring that he can utilize his abilities with the absolute minimum reitasu necessary. With perfect execution, Kakashi is able to keep up with foes who have much power energy to dispose of, though when he overtaxes himself he takes much longer to recover, and suffers for it far more than others with more of this endurance.
-Physical State: As a Shinigami, Kakashi's strength and durability are far beyond human levels. While among his peers, Kakashi isn't able to take as many direct hits as others, though his physical strength is at a superhuman level, and considered to be impressive for someone of his size.
Zanpakutou Chidori (Lit. A Thousand Screaming Birds): In its sealed form, Chidori is a straight-bladed tantō, with a small, circular, handguard. Kakashi generally stores it in a sheath on his back.
Shikai: This sword's shikai is triggered by the command "Scream". Nothing immediately changes about the sword's appearance, excepting that the blade begins to glow with a white light, leaving streaks of this same illumination in the air, where its tip travels, in a path. Additionally, arcs of electricity will travel along Kakashi's hand and arm, always originating from the sword's handle. When crossing with other swords, Kakashi seems to have no issue exerting leverage against others, and is able to withstand hits and parries from much larger weapons.
Shikai Special Ability -Raiton (Lit. Lightning Release): Chidori becomes charged with a powerful electrical current formed from Kakashi's reiatsu. Through this Kakashi is able to manifest a number of unique Kidō during this release, including Raijuu Tsuiga (Lightning Beast Tracking Fang) and Raiden (Lightning Transmission). Most notably, though, this tends to allow him to use his Shunko without seeming to drain his reiatsu terribly. Kakashi can also use this to charge raw lightning through the blade, or any appendage, allowing him to turn himself into a living blade, or extremely enhancing the cutting power of his weapon. Kakashi has only been able to utilize this latter function of his Shikai, before becoming exhausted, a maximum of four times per day. -Reirai (Lit. Lightning Soul): When Kakashi's shikai is released his speed increases to a practically immeasurable magnitude. However, this function of his shikai causes Kakashi to develop a type of tunnel vision that, if his movements become predictable, open himself up to rather easy countering. Due to this tunnel vision, Kakashi cannot easily respond to these foes without some sort of enhancement or intervention.
Secondary Zanpakutou Kamui (Lit. Authority of The Gods): In its sealed form, Kamui appears to be a simple kunai knife with a balanced shape that gives it an almost elegant appearance. Kakashi usually stores this weapon in his robes, drawn when he decides to release it. Releasing this zanpakutou cannot be done at the same time as Chidori, as it's not naturally Kakashi's. This zanpakutou was not originally Kakashi's, and is the zanpakutou of his, supposedly, deceased ally Obito Uchiha. The Uchiha clan are a noble group of Shinigami known for always manifesting dual zanpakutou that share key abilities, with almost an entirely identical shikai. Due to this, Kamui drains Kakashi's reiatsu, rather than enhances it, when released. The longer it's released, and the more heavily its abilities are used, the more exhausted Kakashi becomes.
Shikai: This sword's shikai is triggered by the command "Spin". Once released, the physical sword disappears completely, and instead, Kakashi's left eye physically mutates, turning a crimson in its iris, while the pupil shrinks. Surrounding the iris are three (originally two) black tomoe linked by a faded circular line. No other apparent physical change occurs.
Shikai Special Ability -Sharingan (Lit. Copy Wheel Eye/Hevaen's Eye/Mirror Wheel Eye): The Sharingan ability is largely divided into two components, the Eye of Insight and the Eye of Hypnotism. --Eye of Insight: The Sharingan's user is able to see reiatsu, even very well-hidden reiatsu, being able to give it more distinct color, and distinguish its composition and source. It can also detect irregularities in reiatsu, and the influence of illusions and other Zanpakutou. The user also gains clarity of perception to an extreme degree, becoming able to read lips, and mimic even the most subtle of movements (At an advanced level, Kakashi is able to see another's cells). Through this sensory enhancement, Kakashi is able to also see high-speed movement, and grants him some predictive abilities, anticipating how others will move based on subtle muscle twitches. Through this function, Kakashi is able to negate the tunnel vision caused by Chidori. And finally, the Eye of Insight allows Kakashi to mimic a broad range of abilities, most notably Kidō, certain Hollow abilities (reiatsu and movement-based he cannot copy their physical mutations), and uniquely parrot another's Zanpakutou abilities back at them. The explicit limitation of this is Kakashi's mimicry of zanpakutou abilities requires him to see said ability during the current release of Kamui, and to make use of it DURING this release. Even if an ability would not usually drain its user's reiatsu to use, it does so for Kakashi in this case, and even more severely if it naturally drains the user's reiatsu. The accuracy at which Kakashi can copy is nearly perfect, otherwise. --Eye of Hypnotism: The Sharingan user is able to conjure a series of rudimentary illusions, largely designed and geared to trick opponents into believing what Kakashi wishes them to through subtle imagery and changes. This must be initiated through eye contact, but once it is gained, Kakashi is able to suggest thoughts and actions to another, coercing them to do his wishes, in many cases without their knowledge. At its highest level, Kakashi can actually dominate a target, turning their eyes into a sharingan, completely acting under his command, though this is more evident, and can leave Kakashi vulnerable to attack by others. This is also particularly taxing to do, thus Kakashi rarely dominates another in order to concerve spiritual energy.
Bankai
Raikiri (Lit. Lightning Cutter): When activated, Kakashi’s zanpakutou disappears entirely. Instead, the form of Kakashi’s bankai is his reiatsu, taking on a distinctly lightning-like aura even when not using shunkō. Raikiri strictly doesn’t bring anything new or unique to the table, when compared to Chidori, other than it being a more efficient ability for him to use overall. He is able to give little regard to how much reiatsu he uses thanks to the swell that Bankai’s release gives him, and the efficiency that Raikiri takes. For if there were a bankai ability associated with Raikiri, it’s efficiency. Any ability possessed by Chidori becomes stronger during Bankai, including Kakashi’s speed and cutting power. Most notably, Kakashi is able to actually cut through bolts of natural lightning with a charged strike during Raikiri, a testament to his speed, precision, and predictive ability. Kakashi’s actual speed is difficult to judge during this bankai.
Mangekyou: Kamui (Lit. Kaleidoscope: Authority of The Gods): Kakashi has not yet been able to access this bankai, as he does not know that he can, despite the link between this Kamui and the other essentially enabling him to do so, and therefore has not learned how to do so. When released, though, this bankai turns his eye’s pupil red, and the tomoe reform into three triangles, with streaks at the tips linking each other. While active this bankai enhances the existing abilities of the sharingan, making Kakashi more dangerous during the release. Additionally, this release links Kakashi to a pocket dimension also known as “Kamui” in which he can teleport himself to (once he becomes aware that he can), as well as those which he sees. When doing this he is able to also teleport those things through Kamui to another location if done immediately. He may do this to either people, or objects. If anything is too large, or specifically teleported in a way that it doesn’t enter Kamui completely, it would be sundered entirely. When determining what he will teleport, Kakashi designates a barrier space in which all things will be effected, though objects can leave this space if Kakashi is not quick enough, larger spaces are more straining. Kamui can only be accessed with this bankai, and when something enters Kamui it cannot be traced, and one cannot attune Kamui to any other dimension. The teleportation drains Kakashi significantly, averaging only three uses per day based solely on his reiatsu use. Additionally, the use of this ability more than once within a week will strain Kakashi’s eyes to the point of causing bleeding, and repeated use will eventually cause blindness. When initially gaining this release, Kakashi will not be very accurate or quick with the technique’s use.
Biography Hatake Kakashi is a young Shinigami lower noble of the Hatake clan. Considered exceptionally talented in Shinigami arts, being the son of Sakumo Hatake (The Shinigami’s White Fang), Kakashi grew up believing himself destined to be great. During his childhood, though, Kakashi would experience tragedy and shame, as his father would break several key Shinigami laws in the process of a mission.
As such, Sakumo committed ritual suicide in order to protect his family’s position as nobility, and not force the Hatakes to become defunct.
It was in response to this that Kakashi would develop a distasteful attitude towards anyone he perceived as selfish, be it for themselves or others, who would break the law for any reason. This notion would be challenged by his two best friends in the Shinigami Academy, Obito and Rin. As time would go on, he’d understand that people who broke the law were scum, but those who would sell out their allies were worse than that, and that his father’s death was ultimately a noble one.
Kakashi would be enlisted into 2nd Division, while Obito joined 11th and Rin 4th respectively. Routinely they would all take missions together, that required more diverse squad compositions, with Kakashi becoming an officer quickly, as he was able to achieve Shikai only 7 years out from graduating, though it was plainly evident that his shikai was deeply flawed, and not viable for many combat situations.
During a particularly harrowing set of missions, however, in which Kakashi temporarily lost an eye, due to a Hollow taking advantage of his shikai’s weakness, Obito ultimately was left in a situation where he would surely die, moments after achieving his own shikai.
Bequeathing the only unbroken blade of his sword to Kakashi, he was able to use Obito’s Zanpakutou in tandem with his own to rescue himself and Rin, though ultimately they had to leave Obito behind, unaware that they were leaving him to the sinister machinations and experimentation of a madman.
Not long after, Kakashi would see his friend Rin commit suicide, or risk the spreading of a Hollow virus, on his own hand, as he and her had just finished fighting off an army of infected Shinigami.
These experiences would deeply traumatize Kakashi, causing him to become more withdrawn and ill-adjusted in his adulthood, even as an officer in 2nd division. Over time he became better at masking this, and continued to grow individually in prestige and ability, rising eventually to 3rd seat in this division.
Following the Quincy War and battles with Ywach, Kakashi would eventually be transferred and promoted to 7th division, as even before the war he was unable to take action against opponents outside of the heat of battle, not being able to cold-bloodedly murder without extreme coercion. However, his ability otherwise was easily on-par with that of a Lieutenant’s, largely lacking a powerful spiritual pressure, which could be developed over time.
Currently, many assume Kakashi to be a lazy, tardy, somewhat perverted, buffoon who takes nothing seriously, and plays Kanchou with those who ask him to train with them, rather than actually fighting.
